We went to check into our room and then we walked around checking out the place. Our hotel was right on the St. John's River. We enjoyed walking on the boardwalk along the river and over the bridges to the other side of the river. When we got tired of walking I went to the rooftop of our hotel to swim and it was windy up there. It was cool. I could see all of Jacksonville lit up. One of the bridges was all lit up with blue lights. that evening my Mom got the guide book from our room and looked in it to see what there was to do in Jacksonville and we found something awesome to do. The next day my Mom and Dad surprised me with a trip to St. Augustine. We walked around the city and looked at the fort. That was pretty cool. Then I got to swim with dolphins at Marineland in St. Augustine. My Mom did it with me. It was a beautiful, blue sky day. We got to swim with the oldest living dolphin born in captivity. Her name was Nellie and she was 55 years old. It was fun and cool because their was a baby dolphin at the place and it was attacking my feet. He kept bumping into me trying to get me to play with him. They asked me to try and ignore him because they were trying to get him used to being around people. We got to feed them, make them do tricks and we got to swim with them. I always wanted to do something like that.

Best concert in the park

It was a clear Monday night for a James Taylor concert. We had dinner there and then a few minutes after that we finished our dinner JT came out singing all the songs we knew. It was a great concert and it was alot of fun. We all did not get back to my grandfathers house until 1:30 because JT was still playing at 11:40. It was the best concert I have been to.

perfect today for fishing
Today my buddy Jay came to pick me up and we both went down to the river to fish. We both enjoyed catching shad even though my buddy caught most of the fish. There were a number of people on the river. Some guys were using their flyrods and they were having fun. Looking forward to other day on the river.... hope it's soon
